Our Vision:

A safe community for people to discover, grow, and create a brighter future in STEM and beyond.

Our Mission:

The Integrative Biology Academic Advising Team partners with and advocates for students to foster their academic, personal, and professional growth. We achieve this by:

  • Cultivating welcoming, inclusive, and equitable communities.
  • Providing accurate, timely, and relevant information.
  • Empowering students as curious, creative, and informed decision-makers.
  • Encouraging students to recognize their strengths through self-discovery.

Advising appointments

Current students are encouraged to make an appointment with our advisors through Beaver Hub for future term planning, career and experiential learning plans or other challenges that emerge during your time at OSU.

New students must complete a required orientation which includes advising and registration.

Students changing majors to biology or zoology or adding a minor in biology or marine biology should click on the link below and follow the instructions to get in contact with our advising team.

Plan your courses, professional experiences and career path with our detailed advising guides covering our majors, options, and a variety of careers.
