Integrative Biology seminars are free and open to the public.
Fall 2024 seminars are held in Cordley Hall, room 1316 at 4:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Seminars may be held on Zoom instead of, or in addition to, in-person. For our most current seminar series information, please click here. IB also partners with several other departments to support the Ecology, Evolution and Conservation Biology Seminar Series. Current information for that series can be found here.
Accommodation requests related to a disability should be made at least one week prior to seminar to Integrative Biology: [email protected] or 541-737-2993.
Using Zoom
If a live broadcast is scheduled (via Zoom), you may attend by clicking or pasting into your browser the URL provided under the corresponding seminar listing. A Zoom account is required. If you do not have a Zoom account, you may create a personal account by visiting https://www.zoom.com/ and creating a free account. Once you have created your account, you may download the desktop Zoom application if you like. If you are unable or do not wish to download the desktop application, there is always an option provided to join in the web browser. A password may be required and will be provided in the seminar announcement if needed. Audio only call-in connections are also available if you do not have the technological resources to watch online. Please contact the department for call-in connection information.
Integrative Biology does our best to ensure video/audio access, but the quality/transmission of video/sound may be dependent on the end-user's internet connection and/or computer/viewing device. If you connect but are having difficulty with audio, look for a button that reads CALL IN with my computer which establishes the audio connection.
