Learning experiences beyond the classroom

Rachel Ann Blood (Zoology ‘19) has put both her Spanish minor and science major to use. She studied abroad as part of a Costa Rican Tropical Ecology and Conservation Program, volunteered at Chintimini Wildlife Center and worked as a technician in a horticultural lab.

Hundreds of research labs on campus. 300 student clubs and counting. National and international internships. Biology majors have a wide variety of opportunities to carry forward their passion for science and prepare for a successful career.
