- Our Impact
It is common for students to have academic and/or personal difficulties while in college. Both of these issues can be serious, and both can have dramatic impacts on academic success and personal health. It is always better to ask for help early, and options are significantly reduced after the satisfactory and unsatisfactory (SU) and withdraw (W) deadline on the Friday of week 7.
If you have a problem with a course, it is generally best to start with the instructional staff for the course to check in about resources and approaches. You can also revew the Academic Success Resources for Biology Students at OSU. If the problem goes beyond course performance, you should make an appointment with your advisor, email them or call 541-737-2993. You can also read about additional campus support services below.
