- Our Impact
Born and raised in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. I graduated Oregon State in 2018 with a B.S. and did research as an undergraduate working on the geographic variation in larval Coastal Tailed Frog (Ascaphus truei). I started my M.S. in 2019 in the Mason lab and I am working on natural history of the Northern Rubber Boas (Charina bottae) through long-term capture-recapture data sets provided to us by Richard F. Hoyer. On my free time, I enjoy going out and looking for critters, particularly herps (reptiles and amphibians). My publications can be found on my ResearchGate (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Mark-Leppin) and my field observations are often posted on iNaturalist (https://www.inaturalist.org/users/562490).
