Research
Advised by Sally Hacker
My research focuses on ecosystem services in coastal sand dunes and how non-native species impact them. I'm also interested in ecosystem restoration, climate change, and ecosystem carbon storage.
Teaching
My teaching philosophy is to cultivate curiosity in my students. I like to incorporate experiential learning activities, group collaboration, and discussion into my teaching, and my goal is to help students relate to the subject, find meaning in it, and develop tools to apply it towards achieving their own goals.
