This is a three-term introductory series. Using a strong gross anatomy focus, fall course topics address fundamental concepts of biology as they apply to human anatomy and physiology and then focus on understanding the structures, functions, and regulatory mechanisms involved in the human skeleton, muscular and integumentary systems. Winter course topics address the structures, functions and regulatory mechanisms involved in the human nervous, endocrine and reproductive systems. Spring course topics address the structures, functions, and regulatory mechanisms involved in the human cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary and digestive systems. Accompanying labs are BI 241/BI 242/ BI 243.
