- Our Impact
The IB grad students did a fantastic job of organizing and hosting the 2017 Open House. They hosted visitors in more than a dozen labs and provided hands-on experiences to young and old alike. More photos to come.

Each year the IB Graduate Student Association (IBGSA) organizes a fun-filled and educational open house to showcase the amazing science and education taking place in the department. It's a great opportunity to come witness and ask questions about the research and teaching that our unit acccomplishes.
Maybe you're an alumni and want to learn about what your alma mater has been up to since you graduated or wish to reconnect with your past professors? Or maybe you're a friend or parent of a budding young scientist? Or maybe you're an interested member of the Corvallis community -- no matter your background, age or expertise, come join us! We are excited to show you why we love what we do so much!
In addition to seeing exciting animals and checking out our teaching spaces, we are having a silent auction with items donated from graduate students and faculty from the Integrative Biology Department - items include tickets to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, artwork, earrings, and photography, and so much more! Tickets will be on sale at the event!
The open house this year will take place during OSU's Spring Family Weekend (Sunday, May 7th). The open house is suited for curious people of all ages. It will run 10 am - 2 pm and include tours and activities in several research labs. Stay tuned for more details and a complete schedule.
